Sebastiaan Haffert

Sebastiaan is a 4th year PhD candidate working together with Prof. Christoph Keller and Prof. Ignas Snellen on combining high-resolution spectroscopy with high-contrast imaging for exoplanet science. He is responsible for all aspect of the Leiden EXoplanet Instrument (LEXI) which visits the 4.2 meter William Herschel Telescope at La Palma. His other research interest are the formation and evolution of exoplanet atmospheres, fundamental optics and applications of photonics in astronomy.
